Horses on the road Ruiters & landbouwverkeer
De regel · The rule
Pass horses and riders at walking-to-cycling speed, with plenty of room, and without sudden noise.
WVW 1994 art. 5 (general duty of care)
Why this rule exists
Horses are flight animals: a fright can throw the rider into the road.
