De regel · The rule
Stopping (letting someone in or out, loading straight away) is not parking. E1 bans parking; E2 and a solid yellow line ban stopping too.

Why this rule exists
A quick stop blocks less than a parked car. Where even that is dangerous or blocks traffic, the sign says: no stopping at all.
